The US unlocked prices for iPhone 5 was revealed hours after its official launch on September 12, 2012. AppleInsider quoted Apple iPhone comparison page prices of unlocked 16GB, 32GB and 64GB iPhone 5 models at $649, $749 and $849, respectively.
iPhone 5 Malaysia prices
It has not been announced yet but from past experience and by extrapolating, prices for Malaysia market is likely to be as follows (at current exchange rate):
16GB : RM2,299.00
32GB : RM2,599.00
64GB : RM2,899.00
Given that Malaysia prices are RM100 lower than the extrapolated US versus Singapore prices, I am putting my money on Malaysia prices starting at RM2,199 (16GB).
Let's see in 3 to 4 weeks' time.
Other things to consider: nano-SIM
The new nano-SIM is a shrink-equivalent of the micro-SIM and measures 12.3mm x 8.8mm with thickness of just 0.67mm, or about 15% thinner than micro-SIM. You cannot cut your existing micro-SIM into nano-SIM, the same way you did it previously by cutting normal SIM to micro-SIM.
There is still no confirmation on nano-SIM availability in Malaysia, so even if you get an iPhone 5 in the next week or two, you won't be able to use it as your primary device. So, you may want to reconsider your intention of asking your friends or relatives in Singapore to buy one for you.

iphone 5. :)
I prefer to wait for users reviews before making my mind whether I should change to iPhone 5 or not..
iPhones models,it seems to come too fast.
nano sim card huhu
I don't understand why there's a need to super reduce the SIM to nano. Creating more hassle to the user? Thumb down!
Nano SIM now available from both Digi & Maxis :)
Excuese,, You sell iPhone 5?
64GB really RM 2799 only?
The singapore expensive than this price.
@Sherwin - i'm a user, just like others.
That's an estimated pricing. Anything more than this is plain absurd judging from rivals' more competitive pricing.
@de engineur
OK... thanks for reply
This phone can use all countries? Bcz sim card I so small,
@roman nepali - sim card isn't an issue. You can bring this phone anywhere in the world
I thing this IPHONE55 useing only puti and lado only.....
Why is the price more than RM3000........
@Navin0331 - when the 4S was first made available in M'sia, a 16GB variant was selling for more than RM3000. I believe this is not the actual price, should be much lower than that.
People are taking advantage of brand loyalists (iPhone fans).
so after few weeks the price will drop?and how about the review?because i heard that there are a few problems with the iphone 5
hmmm.iphone5..<3 <3
Retailers in Kota Kinabalu/Karamunsing are saying early adopters can get the base model (16GB) for between RM3,588 to RM3,799.
Crazy as it seem, some of them said there were few who have actually bought them at these prices. To them, money is obviously no object.
For the rest of us, we'll have to wait for the official pricing to be announced locally.
Samsung was on top now, IPHONE juz a piece of shit
what is the price of iphone if i bought directly in the us without contract from service providers like at&T or verizon
U.S. prices without contract are shown with asterisk (*) in the image grabs
What do you think about the price for iPhone 4s after the launch of iPhone 5?
Current prices in US for the 4s, 16GB is: $549 (unlocked) or approx RM1699
Current in Malaysia the price for (4s), 16GB is: RM1,799
But if you check them out at retail shops they are still selling them at around RM2,000, so the price wouldnt go down drastically anytime soon.
Maybe, after the next generation, iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 (or whatever they call it) is launched, only then the 4s price will be much much cheaper.
Hey.. thanks for your insights. It's well worth in getting an iPhone nowadays, just to keep us updated with technology though. At least Apple can keep in "touch" with the many models in the market today from their competitors. After all, iPhone is in a league of their own right?
waiting for iphone 5s release...
Very interesting.Check tis out in Facebook.Apple registered Seller based in Kuala Lumpur..

This is a global phone. It works anywhere.
In the UK, the 5S was listed on Apple's website. The thing had paid
for itself in the smartphone wars with Apple and manufacturers of devices
running Google Inc. Best Apple iphone (tiptopphone.Com) apps, one needs a skilled iPhone programmer.
Public wireless hotspots are very unsecure. This time Apple has used a 3.
5" retina display" screen and will be iphone f a q deported back to India after serving his sentence.

We also learned the pricing could be a bit higher than
our recently raised expectation, reaching as high as $400.
A very nice feature with the new i - Phone is the ability to zoom when taking video.
If, on the other hand, you just want to prevent keys and coins from damaging the
delicate plastic on the back of your i - Phone 5, and you're confident that
you won't ever crack the glass and ruin your phone, a mistake that could cost
you up to $250, then just buy a protective skin.
